Power Station a fost o trupă rock britanico-americană fondată în 1984, numită după studioul de înregistrări din New York unde a luat naștere. Formația a reunit vocalistul Robert Palmer, bateristul Tony Thompson (Chic) și doi membri ai Duran Duran – chitaristul Andy Taylor și basistul John Taylor. Trupa a combinat magistral hard rock-ul cu funk-ul dansant și pop-ul rafinat.
Reeditarea pe vinil a albumului de debut din 1985 aduce Some Like It Hot și cover-ul Get It On (Bang a Gong) – două hituri care au devenit simboluri muzicale ale anilor '80. Albumul a fost produs de Bernard Edwards (Chic), asigurând îmbinarea melodiilor captivante new wave cu ritmuri funk energice. Reeditarea conține înregistrări bonus, inclusiv apariția la Live Aid și remix-uri. Remasterizarea din 2025 aduce un set pe două viniluri cu 16 piese.
