Powerwolf este o trupă germană de power metal activă din 2003, cunoscută pentru imaginea întunecată și temele care evocă creștinismul și legendele despre vârcolaci. Grupul a lansat deja zece albume de studio.
Ediția de turneu pe 2CD Call of the Wild (Tour Edition) reprezintă versiunea extinsă a albumului Call of the Wild. Primul disc conține cele unsprezece piese originale, printre care Faster Than the Flame, Beast of gévaudan sau Dancing with the Dead. Al doilea disc, Missa Cantorem II, oferă toate piesele reînregistrate în duete cu invitați – printre ei se numără Hansi Kürsch, Tommy Johansson, Melissa Bonny și alte personalități metal.
Componența Powerwolf cuprinde vocalistul Attila Dorn, chitariștii Matthew Greywolf și Charles Greywolf, claviaturistul Falk Maria Schlegel și bateristul Roel van Helden.
