The Proclaimers sunt o formație scoțiană alcătuită din gemenii identici Charlie și Craig Reid. Au devenit celebri pentru melodiile lor distinctive, creativitatea muzicală și accentul scoțian puternic din interpretare.
Albumul Sunshine on Leith a apărut în 1988 și conține cele mai cunoscute hituri ale trupei — I'm Gonna Be (500 Miles), I'm on My Way și piesa care dă titlul albumului Sunshine on Leith. Ediția remasterizată din 2011, pe 2LP marmurat, prezintă albumul de studio complet, la care se adaugă înregistrări bonus din sesiuni radio BBC (1989, 1990) și o înregistrare live de la Glastonbury. Face parte din Record Store Day 2022, ediție limitată la 5.581 de exemplare.
