Ratt este o trupă americană de glam metal care a cunoscut cel mai mare succes în anii '80 și a devenit, alături de Mötley Crüe, una dintre trupele definitorii ale scenei hair metal din California. Primele lor patru albume au primit certificări multiplatină, iar hituri precum „Round and Round” (locul 12 în Billboard Hot 100) sau „Lay It Down” au intrat în istoria genului.
Compilația The Atlantic Years 1984–1990 pe 5 CD-uri, lansată în 2020 de casa de discuri Atlantic, oferă o privire completă asupra celei mai glorioase perioade a trupei. Box set-ul conține 51 de piese care includ albumele clasice Out of the Cellar (1984), Invasion of Your Privacy (1985), Dancing Undercover (1986) și Reach for the Sky (1988). Pe lângă hiturile menționate, veți găsi și „You're in Love”, „Wanted Man” sau „Dance” – piese care au definit sunetul glam metal-ului din anii '80.
