Michael Schenker este un chitarist german de hard rock și heavy metal, fost membru al legendarului grup UFO și unul dintre membrii fondatori ai Scorpions. Ca adolescent, în a doua jumătate a anilor '70 a fost forța motrice din spatele hiturilor precum Doctor Doctor și Rock Bottom, iar astăzi este considerat una dintre cele mai influente figuri din istoria chitarei metal.
Albumul My Years With Ufo pe dublu LP comemorează 50 de ani de activitate a lui Schenker în UFO în perioada 1972–1978, când au fost lansate albumele Phenomenon, Force It, Lights Out și înregistrarea live de cult Strangers in the Night. Produs de Michael Schenker și Michael Voss. Înregistrarea include 11 dintre cele mai mari hituri UFO, reinterpretate într-o formă nouă alături de invitați de marcă — printre care Axl Rose, Slash, Kai Hansen, Roger Glover, Joey Tempest, Dee Snider și alții. Schenker este asistat de Derek Sherinian (clape), Brian Tichy (tobe) și Barry Sparks (chitară bas).
