Carly Simon este o cântăreață și compozitoare americană ale cărei hituri din anii '70, precum You're So Vain, Anticipation sau Nobody Does It Better, au consacrat-o drept o icoană a genurilor soft rock și pop. În 1988 a intrat în istorie ca primul artist care a câștigat premiul Grammy, Globul de Aur și Oscarul pentru aceeași piesă, Let The River Run.
Albumul These Are The Good Old Days: The Carly Simon & Jac Holzman Story a fost lansat în 2023 pe dublu vinil. Este o selecție personală de piese din primele trei albume ale cântăreței, alcătuită de Jac Holzman, fondatorul casei de discuri Elektra și prieten îndelungat al artistei. Înregistrările au fost remasterizate în 2023, iar alături de hiturile cunoscute este inclus și rarul demo Alone. Această colecție oferă o privire asupra începuturilor carierei lui Simon și arată cum au luat naștere piesele care au definit o epocă.
