Nicholas Hooper este un compozitor britanic de film și televiziune, autorul muzicii pentru al cincilea și al șaselea film din saga Harry Potter. Pentru creația sa a primit premiul BAFTA și Ivor Novello Award și a colaborat frecvent cu regizorul David Yates.
Albumul Harry Potter And The Half-Blood Prince prezintă coloana sonoră a celui de-al șaselea film din saga, lansată inițial în 2009 și reeditată acum pe vinil, sub formă de album dublu. Muzica îmbină motive lirice, intime, care evidențiază maturizarea personajelor principale, cu pasaje orchestrale tensionate, dramatice, ce accentuează amenințarea tot mai mare a puterii lui Voldemort. Printre piesele remarcabile se numără In Noctem, Ginny și Dumbledore's Farewell.
