John Williams este un compozitor american de muzică de film, deținător al mai multor premii Oscar și Grammy, considerat din anii '70 unul dintre cei mai celebri și mai de succes compozitori de muzică de film din lume. A devenit cunoscut în special prin colaborarea cu regizorii Steven Spielberg și George Lucas.
Coloana sonoră Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade a fost lansată în 1989 de casa de discuri Warner Records. Muzica a fost compusă și dirijată de John Williams, iar orchestrațiile au fost realizate de Herbert W. Spencer, Alexander Courage, John Neufeld și Patrick Hollenbeck. Înregistrarea cuprinde 19 piese cu o durată totală de peste o oră — printre cele mai cunoscute se numără Scherzo for Motorcycle and Orchestra, X Marks the Spot și finalul Finale & End Credits. Aceeași înregistrare a apărut ulterior și ca parte a colecției complete Indiana Jones Soundtrack Collection.
