The Subways este o trupă britanică de rock alternativ care și-a câștigat recunoașterea prin energia brută a garage rock-ului și prin piese melodice influențate de punk și indie rock.
Albumul Young for Eternity a apărut în 2005 la casa de discuri BMG și a devenit debutul de succes al grupului. Producția discului a fost asigurată de Ian Broudie, cunoscut din proiecte precum The Lightning Seeds sau Echo & the Bunnymen. Albumul a obținut statutul de disc de aur în Marea Britanie pentru vânzări de 100 000 de exemplare și a ajuns pe locul 32 în clasamentele britanice. Această ediție 2CD în digipack include în total 49 de piese, printre care versiuni live de la Reading Festival 2006. Printre cele mai cunoscute melodii se numără Rock & Roll Queen, Oh Yeah și With You, care au apărut în seriale, reclame și în jocul FIFA 06.
La momentul apariției albumului, trupa era formată din Billy Lunn (chitară, voce), Charlotte Cooper (chitară bas, voce) și Josh Morgan (tobe).
