Thompson Twins a fost o trupă pop britanică înființată în aprilie 1977. Inițial un grup new wave, trupa a evoluat către un sunet mainstream mai popular și a obținut o notorietate considerabilă începând cu 1983, înregistrând numeroase hituri în Regatul Unit, SUA și în întreaga lume.
Albumul Into The Gap din 1984 se numără printre cele mai reușite realizări ale trupei. Această reeditare deluxe pe 3 CD-uri prezintă materialul complet remasterizat în 2024, îmbogățit cu numeroase mixuri alternative, versiuni instrumentale și variante extinse de 12". Primul disc conține albumul original cu piese bonus, inclusiv Nurse Shark și Out Of The Gap, inedite. Al doilea și al treilea disc oferă mixuri extinse și remixuri ale hit-urilor precum Hold Me Now, Doctor! Doctor! sau You Take Me Up, multe dintre acestea fiind lansate în premieră sau, în cazul unora, în premieră pe CD.
