Tiamat este o trupă suedeză de metal fondată în 1988, a cărei muzică combină elemente de death metal, doom metal și gothic metal cu influențe atmosferice și experimentale.
Albumul Sumerian Cry a fost lansat inițial în iunie 1990 ca debut al trupei sub noul nume Tiamat, deși a fost înregistrat încă sub numele original Treblinka în 1989. Această reeditare din 2021 pe LP cuprinde zece piese, inclusiv In The Shrines Of The Kingly Dead, Necrophagious Shadows și Where The Serpents Ever Dwell, care reprezintă perioada timpurie a trupei în stilul death metal și doom metal.
