Devin Townsend este un muzician canadian, producător și multiinstrumentalist, cunoscut în principal pentru stilul său de progressive metal cu elemente industrial. A fondat și condus formația de metal extrem Strapping Young Lad, dezvoltând în paralel o bogată carieră solo.
Albumul The Moth a fost lansat în mai 2026 la casa de discuri InsideOut Music și reprezintă al douăzeci și treilea album de studio al lui Devin Townsend. Artistul l-a numit „opera vieții sale” – concepția a luat naștere în jurul anului 2017 și a trecut prin multiple revizuiri pe parcursul următorului deceniu, până când a fost prezentat live în martie 2025 la Groningen, Olanda. Dublul album pe 2CD cuprinde 24 de compoziții, printre care se remarcă War Beyond Words, The Moth sau We Don't Deserve Dogs. După lansare, The Moth a primit o primire critică pozitivă.
