UB40 este o trupă britanică de reggae și dub formată în 1978 în Birmingham. Componența lor multietnică și sunetul lor caracteristic le-au adus succes internațional și peste 50 de single-uri în topurile britanice.
Compilația The Best Of, Volumes 1 & 2 a apărut în 2005 la casa de discuri EMI Marketing sub forma unui album dublu pe 2 CD-uri, cuprinzând în total 34 de piese. Setul oferă o trecere în revistă a celor mai mari hituri ale trupei, inclusiv Red Red Wine, I Got You Babe, Kingston Town și Food for Thought.
La momentul lansării, trupa era formată din Ali Campbell, Robin Campbell, Jim Brown, Earl Falconer, Norman Hassan, Brian Travers, Michael Virtue, Astro, Martin Meredith și Laurence Parry.
