Lovers rock a apărut în anii '70 în Marea Britanie ca răspuns la rădăcinile jamaicane mai dure ale genului – se concentrează pe dragoste, emoții și trăiri sufletești.
Triplul album oferă 60 de înregistrări clasice de la artiști precum Dennis Brown, Carroll Thompson, Louisa Mark, Gregory Isaacs și alții. Printre piesele remarcabile se numără Silly Games, Hopelessly in Love, I'm in Love With a Dreadlocks, African Queen sau Money in My Pocket.
