Wham! a fost un duo pop britanic format în 1981 la Londra din George Michael și Andrew Ridgeley. Influențat de funk și soul, a fost una dintre cele mai de succes formații pop ale anilor optzeci din punct de vedere comercial și a vândut peste 30 de milioane de înregistrări la nivel mondial între 1982 și 1986.
Compilația The Singles: Echoes from the Edge of Heaven a apărut în 2023 la casa de discuri Sony Music sub forma unui box set de zece CD-uri. Conține în total 33 de piese care acoperă discografia de single-uri a duoului – de la debutul Wham rap! (enjoy what you do?), trecând prin hituri precum Wake Me Up Before You Go-Go, Freedom sau Last Christmas, până la diverse mixuri de club și versiuni instrumentale. Colecția surprinde energia erei MTV și a celei de-a doua invazii britanice în topurile americane, care a transformat Wham! într-una dintre icoanele deceniului.
