Edgar Winter este un multiinstrumentalist american, claviaturist și saxofonist, cunoscut pentru activitatea sa din anii '70 cu formațiile Edgar Winter Group și Edgar Winter's White Trash. Fratele său mai mare, Johnny Winter, a fost un chitarist de blues.
Albumul Brother Johnny a apărut în aprilie 2022 pe CD la casa de discuri Quarto Valley Records. Înregistrările au avut loc în Capitol Studios și EastWest Studios din Hollywood, producătorii fiind Ross Hogarth și însuși Winter. La cele 17 piese au contribuit numeroși invitați – chitariștii Joe Walsh, Billy Gibbons, Derek Trucks, Steve Lukather, Warren Haynes și alții, bateriștii Ringo Starr și Kenny Aronoff, vocalistul Michael McDonald și chitaristul de blues Joe Bonamassa. Repertoriul este orientat spre blues și cuprinde preluări precum Johnny B. Goode, Highway 61 Revisited, Jumpin' Jack Flash sau Rock 'n' Roll Hoochie Koo.
