Black Sabbath este o trupă engleză de heavy metal din Birmingham, considerată pionieră a genului. Primele trei albume ale lor, Black Sabbath (1970), Paranoid (1970) și Master of Reality (1971), au definit chipul heavy metalului și rămân opere fundamentale în istoria muzicii.
Albumul Live Evil a fost lansat în 1982 drept prima înregistrare live oficială a trupei Black Sabbath și surprinde formația în era vocalistului Ronnie James Dio. Această ediție Super Deluxe de aniversare a 40 de ani aduce pe patru viniluri, pe lângă originalul remasterizat, și variante remixate recent din concertele turneului din 1982 de la Seattle, San Antonio, Dallas și Fresno. Include piese de succes precum Paranoid, Iron Man, War Pigs sau Heaven and Hell.
Pe album apar Ronnie James Dio (voce), toboșarul Vinnie Appice și membrii fondatori Tony Iommi (chitară) și Geezer Butler (chitară bas).
