David Bowie (1947–2016) a fost un cântăreț, compozitor și actor britanic, unul dintre cei mai influenți muzicieni ai secolului XX. Cariera sa a fost caracterizată de reinventare constantă și accent pe prezentarea vizuală, fiind recunoscut mai ales pentru activitatea din anii '70, când a devenit figura-cheie a glam rock-ului și pionier al mai multor direcții muzicale.
Box set-ul Divine Symmetry cu subtitlul The Journey To Hunky Dory pe Blu-ray documentează drumul artistului de la albumul The Man Who Sold The World (1970) la îndrăzneațul album de studio Hunky Dory (1971). Colecția conține demo-uri brute (Quicksand, Life On Mars?, Changes), înregistrări hoteliere din San Francisco, concertul complet pentru legendara emisiune a lui John Peel în versiuni mono și stereo, precum și înregistrări live din spectacolele Sounds Of The 70s și Friars din Aylesbury din 1971. Nu lipsesc nici mixajele alternative și versiunile remasterizate ale pieselor care au definit una dintre cele mai prolifice perioade ale creației lui Bowie.
