Eddie „Lockjaw” Davis a fost un saxofonist tenor american de jazz care a combinat în interpretarea sa diferite stiluri, de la jazz-ul big band din anii '40 la soul jazz de la sfârșitul anilor '50 și începutul anilor '60. Între 1942 și 1944 a cântat în orchestra lui Cootie Williams, iar ulterior a colaborat cu muzicieni precum Sonny Stitt, Shirley Scott, Coleman Hawkins, Dizzy Gillespie sau Count Basie.
Compilația Cookin' with Jaws and the Queen: The Legendary Prestige Cookbook Albums a fost lansată în 2023 de casa de discuri Concord Jazz și reunește înregistrările legendare din seria „Cookbook” albums pentru Prestige. Setul de patru discuri într-o carcasă din plastic cuprinde în total 26 de piese, inclusiv versiuni precum Have Horn, Will Blow, The Chef, Stardust sau Smoke This.
