Depeche Mode este o formație britanică de muzică electronică fondată în 1980 în orașul Basildon. Inițial formată din Dave Gahan, Martin Gore, Andy Fletcher și Vince Clarke, în prezent este compusă din Gahan și Gore. Unul dintre cei mai importanți reprezentanți ai genului synthpop, care a influențat generații de muzicieni contemporani. În 2020, formația a fost introdusă în Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
Colecția Depeche Mode: M a fost lansată în 2024 de casa de discuri Mute și combină filmul de lungmetraj Depeche Mode: M cu înregistrarea de concert Memento Mori: Mexico City. Primul DVD conține filmul documentar al regizorului Fernando Frías, care împletește secvențe de concert cu interpretări ale culturii mexicane și ale relației cu moartea. Al doilea DVD prezintă concertul complet de la reprezentațiile sold-out de pe stadionul Foro Sol din Mexico City în timpul turneului mondial Memento Mori din 2023. Cele două discuri CD conțin versiunea audio a aceluiași concert – peste două ore de înregistrări live plus patru piese de studio inedite din Memento Mori Sessions. Ambalajul include o broșură cu fotografii de la concerte.
