Dokken este o trupă americană de heavy metal fondată la Los Angeles în 1978. Cele mai mari succese le-a obținut în anii optzeci, când a vândut peste 10 milioane de albume în întreaga lume și a plasat mai multe single-uri în topul Billboard Hot 100.
Boxul de compilație The Elektra Albums 1983-1987 cu patru viniluri a fost lansat de casa de discuri Elektra în 2022. Colecția cuprinde patru albume de studio din perioada celei mai mari popularități a trupei: Breaking the Chains (1983), Tooth and Nail (1984), Under Lock and Key (1985) și Back for the Attack (1987). Boxul conține în total 43 de piese, printre care hituri precum Alone Again, In My Dreams sau Breaking the Chains.
La momentul lansării boxului, trupa era formată din Jon Levin (chitară electrică), Chris McCarvill (chitară bas), BJ Zampa (tobe) și Greg Leon.
