Ondřej Havelka & Melody Makers este o orchestră cehă de swing specializată în interpretarea autentică a muzicii jazz din anii '40.
Albumul Swing nylonového věku pe CD aduce șaisprezece piese inspirate de perioada 1945–1948, numită „epoca nylonului” de scriitorul Jan Škvorecký. Repertoriul include evergreen-uri de swing precum In The Mood, Stompin' At The Savoy sau Tutti Frutti și cântece cehe de epocă Jen ten, kdo miluje, Bílé mraky sau Hřebík v botě. Interpretarea sensibilă a acestor înregistrări clasice redă atmosfera acelor vremuri, când swing-ul se bucura de o intensitate deplină.
