Kamelot este o formație americană de power metal din Tampa, Florida, fondată în 1987 de către chitaristul Thomas Youngblood. Grupul a încorporat în muzica sa elemente de metal simfonic și progresiv, fiind considerat unul dintre reprezentanții de vârf ai scenei power metal.
Albumul live I Am the Empire: Live From the 013 a fost lansat în august 2020 de către casa de discuri Napalm Records ca un set de patru discuri pe Blu-ray. Acesta este al treilea album de concert al trupei și a doua înregistrare live lansată pe DVD/Blu-ray. Înregistrarea prezintă spectacolul susținut în venue 013, cuprinzând un total de 63 de piese, inclusiv Phantom Divine (Shadow Empire), Veil of Elysium, March of Mephisto sau Forever. Pe album au apărut ca invitate vocalistele Lauren Hart, Elize Ryd, Alissa White-Gluz și Charlotte Wessels.
În momentul înregistrării, formația era alcătuită din vocalistul Tommy Karevik, fondatorul și chitaristul Thomas Youngblood, claviaturistul Oliver Palotai, basistul Sean Tibbetts, bateristul Alex Landenburg, iar la vocile de acompaniament au fost Elize Ryd și Alissa White-Gluz.
