Modern Talking a fost un duo german de synthpop format din vocalistul Thomas Anders și producătorul Dieter Bohlen, care a devenit unul dintre cele mai de succes proiecte pop europene din anii '80. Cele mai mari hituri ale lor, precum You're My Heart, You're My Soul, Cheri, Cheri Lady sau Brother Louie, au dominat clasamentele în zeci de țări, din Europa, Asia și până în America de Sud.
Compilația Maxi & Singles Collection a fost lansată în 2019 de casa de discuri Sony Music ca o ediție pe trei discuri CD într-o carcasă din plastic. Oferă în total 53 de piese, incluzând versiuni extinse ale single-urilor lor clasice — primul disc aduce remix-uri speciale pe 12" și versiuni extended (de exemplu Lucky Guy în special-DJ-mix de peste 8 minute, Locomotion Tango în long bass version), al doilea conține versiuni radio și înregistrări instrumentale. Setul documentează producția synthpop și eurodisco a duo-ului din era lor cea mai de succes.
