The Rolling Stones este o formație rock britanică înființată la Londra în 1962, fiind una dintre cele mai populare și influente trupe din era rock. Principalii compozitori au fost duo-ul Mick Jagger și Keith Richards, iar componența grupului a trecut prin mai multe schimbări de-a lungul deceniilor.
Albumul dublu Totally Stripped a apărut în 1995 la casa de discuri Eagle Vision pe 2 CD în digipack. Acest soundtrack documentează latura mai intimă a trupei în timpul unei serii de concerte acustice și de club la Amsterdam, Paris și Londra de la mijlocul anilor '90. Pe primul disc sunt incluse 14 piese live, printre care clasice precum Honkey Tonk Woman, Miss You, Gimme Shelter sau Jumpin' Jack Flash, iar numele orașelor de lângă fiecare piesă indică locul înregistrării. Al doilea disc conține filmul documentar de 90 de minute Totally Stripped.
La momentul lansării, formația era alcătuită din Mick Jagger (voce, chitară, armonică), Keith Richards (chitară, voce), Charlie Watts (tobe) și Ronnie Wood (chitară).
