Scorpions este o legendară formație germană de hard rock fondată în 1965 la Hanovra de Rudolf Schenker. Trupa s-a consacrat prin heavy metalul melodic și baladele rock puternice, inclusiv hituri precum Rock You Like a Hurricane, Still Loving You și Wind of Change.
Albumul Return to Forever a fost lansat în Europa pe 20 februarie 2015 de casa de discuri RCA. Este al optulea album de studio al formației din 2000 încoace și ultimul cu toboșarul James Kottak, care a părăsit trupa în septembrie 2016. Ediția pe trei discuri cuprinde în total 64 de piese incluzând atât înregistrări noi de studio, cât și versiuni live și de concert. Printre piesele noi se remarcă Going Out With a Bang, We Built This House și Rock My Car.
La momentul lansării albumului, Scorpions erau compuși din Rudolf Schenker (chitară, voce de acompaniament), Klaus Meine (voce principală), Matthias Jabs (chitară, voce de acompaniament), James Kottak (tobe) și Paweł Mąciwoda (chitară bas, voce de acompaniament).
