Van Halen a fost o trupă americană de hard rock fondată în 1972 de frații Eddie și Alex Van Halen. Grupul a devenit celebru pentru spectacolele sale energice și virtuozitatea chitaristului Eddie Van Halen; în anii 1980 s-a numărat printre cele mai populare trupe rock din lume.
Reeditarea extinsă a albumului For Unlawful Carnal Knowledge din 1991, pe 2 CD și Blu-ray, cuprinde cel de-al nouălea album de studio remasterizat, care în iunie 1991 a urcat trupa pe primul loc în clasamentul american. Pachetul include o înregistrare live inedită de la West End Marketplace din Dallas, Texas, din decembrie 1991, versiuni alternative nepublicate până acum ale pieselor Right Now și The Dream Is Over, precum și videoclipurile oficiale Poundcake, Runaround, Right Now și Top of the World.
