Albumul de concert MTV Unplugged pe vinil dublu (2 LP) surprinde un set acustic înregistrat pentru canalul muzical MTV în 1993. Formatul MTV Unplugged a fost extrem de popular în prima jumătate a anilor nouăzeci — concerte acustice pentru această serie au înregistrat și Nirvana, David Bowie, Paul McCartney sau Metallica. Înregistrarea conține cele mai mari hituri ale trupei, inclusiv These Are Days, Candy Everybody Wants, Because the Night și Trouble Me. Între înregistrare și publicare, solista Natalie Merchant a părăsit trupa, hotărând să se concentreze pe cariera solo.
