The Cure este o trupă britanică de post-punk și gothic rock fondată în 1976 de solistul și chitaristul Robert Smith la Crawley în West Sussex. Smith este singurul membru permanent al trupei pe parcursul întregii sale istorii, perioadă în care The Cure a devenit una dintre cele mai influente trupe alternative ale generației sale.
DVD-ul dublu Curaetion (25th Anniversary Edition) surprinde două concerte din 2018 care celebrează patruzeci de ani de carieră. Primul disc conține a zecea și ultima seară a celei de-a 25-a ediții a festivalului Meltdown (al cărui curator a fost Robert Smith) de la Royal Festival Hall din Londra în iunie 2018. Robert Smith, Simon Gallup, Jason Cooper, Roger O'Donnell și Reeves Gabrels au interpretat cronologic câte o piesă de pe fiecare dintre cele treisprezece albume de studio ale trupei, prezentând astfel întreaga evoluție muzicală a The Cure. Al doilea disc include concertul aniversar din 7 iulie 2018 de la Hyde Park din Londra, unde în 135 de minute au fost interpretate 29 de piese pentru 65 000 de fani. Printre acestea nu au lipsit Just Like Heaven, Lovesong, High și The End Of The World.
Ambele concerte surprind formația alcătuită din Robert Smith (voce, chitară), Simon Gallup (chitară bas), Jason Cooper (tobe), Roger O'Donnell (clape) și Reeves Gabrels (chitară).
