Scorpions sunt o trupă germană de hard rock și heavy metal fondată în 1965 la Hanovra, una dintre cele mai cunoscute și longevive formații rock din lume. S-au consacrat prin heavy metal melodic și balade rock de cult.
Albumul Savage Amusement a apărut inițial în 1988 și reprezintă un clasic al perioadei de vârf a trupei. Această reeditare din 2018 pe CD în digipack include, pe lângă înregistrările originale precum Rhythm of Love, Passion Rules the Game sau Believe in Love, și cinci piese demo bonus, printre care Taste of Love, Edge of Time și Fast and Furious. În total conține 15 piese.
În perioada 1978–1992, formația era alcătuită din Rudolf Schenker (chitară), Klaus Meine (voce), Matthias Jabs (chitară), Francis Buchholz (chitară bas) și Herman Rarebell (tobe). Singurul membru constant de la înființare este Rudolf Schenker, iar Klaus Meine cântă în trupă din 1969.
