Steve Hackett este un chitarist și compozitor britanic, devenit celebru ca membru al trupei de rock progresiv Genesis, unde a activat între 1971 și 1977. Pentru contribuția sa la șase albume de studio și trei albume live ale formației, a fost introdus în Rock and Roll Hall of Fame în 2010.
Albumul live Genesis Revisited Band & Orchestra pe CD cuprinde înregistrări din concertul de la Royal Festival Hall din Londra, unde Hackett a reinterpretat alături de trupa și orchestra sa piese clasice Genesis. Înregistrarea include compoziții ample precum Supper's Ready, The Musical Box sau Firth of Fifth, completate cu piese solo ale lui Hackett precum Shadow of the Hierophant și El Niño. Aranjamentele orchestrale adaugă o dimensiune nouă pieselor rock progresiv originale.
