David Gilmour este un chitarist, vocalist și compozitor britanic, cunoscut mai ales din trupa de rock progresiv Pink Floyd. În 2003 a fost decorat cu Ordinul Imperiului Britanic pentru meritele sale în muzică și filantropie.
DVD-ul Remember That Night: Live at the Royal Albert Hall a fost lansat în 2007 de casa de discuri EMI. Ediția digipack cu două discuri documentează concertele solo ale lui Gilmour care au avut loc pe 29–31 mai 2006 la Royal Albert Hall din Londra, în cadrul turneului pentru albumul On an Island. Titlul provine din versurile piesei On an Island. Pe lângă înregistrările de la concerte, conține în total 40 de piese, printre care clasice Pink Floyd precum Shine on You Crazy Diamond, Echoes, Comfortably Numb și Wish You Were Here, precum și piese de pe albumul solo al lui Gilmour de la acea perioadă. Setul include documentare, imagini din Summer Tour 2006, prestații de la Abbey Road și de la BBC Mermaid Theatre Concert.
